“A nobody in the HANDS OF AN AWESOME GOD”
My mission in my lifetime is to share GOD and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST with as many people as possible through scripture, my personal testimony, prayer, and most of all love for GOD: FOR GOD IS LOVE. “a nobody in the HANDS OF AN AWESOME GOD,” I pray, will be one of the ways GOD will help me to accomplish this mission.

“TO BE A MISSIONARY, NOT A MISSION FIELD”
What a wonderful plan. “Be a missionary, not a mission field.”When I was young and would read books on missionaries, or see black and white movies of missionary’s stories on TV, I imagined myself being a missionary someday and helping people. Then in college I again thought of becoming a nun. That was in the 1970’s when an ecumenical movement was going on at Eau Claire State University. I attended the Catholic services every Sat. night, talked to a Priest about my thoughts of doing GOD’S work, but GOD knew that was not to be, for I met my soon to be husband DuWayne. We were married in 1971 and in 1976, Salvation came into our hearts.
A PRECIOUS SCRIPTURE
1 John 4:16 – “ And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him.” AMP
Please permit me to take license with this scripture 1 John 4:16 I love so much, and personalize it:
{ I, linda kay, know, understand, recognize, am conscious of, by (my) observation and experience that( I, linda kay,) BELIEVE, (adhere to and PUT FAITH IN and RELY ON) THE LOVE GOD CHERISHES FOR (me). GOD IS LOVE, and if (I linda kay) who dwell in LOVE dwells and continues in LOVE AND DWELL IN GOD, GOD does and will continue to dwell in (me,) (linda kay.) Amen.}
ACCEPTING ALL PRAYERS
I will be accepting all prayers for the needs of others. No prayer is too insignificant to pray. GOD hears and answers. HE is the one I depend on and hope to help others learn to depend on HIM. We need HIM. HE loves us. What better person can we ever depend on in this world than GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER.
If you feel led to pray for me, I will accept any prayers you offer up for me. I can use all the prayers GOD leads you to pray for me, and I thank HIM and you for them.

Let’s see where this journey takes us. GOD is my PRECIOUS GUIDE. May HE be yours, too.

6:10-18 – In conclusion be strong – not in yourselves but in the Lord, in the power of his boundless resource. Put on God’s complete armor so that you can successfully resist all the devil’s methods of attack. For our fight is not against any physical enemy: it is against organizations and powers that are spiritual. We are up against the unseen power that controls this dark world, and spiritual agents from the very headquarters of evil. Therefore you must wear the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist evil in its day of power, and that even when you have fought to a standstill you may still stand your ground. Take your stand then with truth as your belt, righteousness your breastplate, the Gospel of peace firmly on your feet, salvation as your helmet and in your hand the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Above all be sure you take faith as your shield, for it can quench every burning missile the enemy hurls at you. Pray at all times with every kind of spiritual prayer, keeping alert and persistent as you pray for all Christ’s men and women.
6:19-20 – And pray for me, too, that I may be able to speak freely here to make known the secret of that Gospel for which I am, so to speak, an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may speak out about it as my plain and obvious duty.”
